We aim for multiple wins in all our work: wins for the client and users, who get a functional space that they enjoy; wins for biodiversity, by incorporating indigenous plants and creating wildlife habitat; wins for the community by providing landscape services and amenity; and wins for us, who can make a living doing mahi we are proud of.

 

Our mahi is underpinned ​by principles of respect for whenua and te taiao (the natural world).​

​In all our projects we attempt to reuse or recycle existing materials, and utilise the most sustainable materials and construction methods practicable, considering the environmental impact throughout the project's lifecycle.

 

In our planting work we are guided by the appropriate indigenous plant communities for the site. Exotic or non-local native plants are sometimes more suitable for the project's objectives and can be incorporated into these plant communities.
